LANDSCAPES FROM THE SOUL
Collection of illustrations exploring symbolism and the psychology of color. Inspired by poetry, these pieces focus on the themes of identity and personal transformation.
Ways to Disappear
This painting was inspired by the poem "Ways to Disappear" by Camille Rankine, which I found on Poets.org
I thought of the kind of "disappearing" that takes place when someone is physically present, while they don't feel seen or heard. The person may have been censored, ignored, or not daring to show her feelings and views.

The Daughter of the Patriarchy
Created for the “About Women” International Mail Art Project.
A reimagining of Magritte’s "The Son of Man", exploring misogyny and internalized guilt. The bitten apple is used as a symbol for the "sinner" and the sexist prejudice that often hides the real face of women. The strike to the chest represents the inner conflict caused when cultural misogyny has been internalized.
Exhibition: "Women at War", About Women International Mail Art Project, at Studio 40, Contemporary Arts Centre in Wales, UK, 2022.
The Laughing Heart
A visual conceptualization of Charles Bukowski’s poem "The Laughing Heart" — a piece about finding one’s way to live fully and freely.
This work explores resilience and personal growth by merging botanical elements with human anatomy to symbolize our capacity to flourish.
Featured at "The Healing Power of ART: Resilience 2022" international exhibition: healing-power-of-art.org
The Empowered Clown
This illustration explores the power of showing ourselves as we are.
Using the clown as a symbol, it celebrates the acceptance of all feelings—even those usually hidden—as a path to true personal empowerment.
The Journey
An illustration inspired by Mary Oliver’s poem on self-transformation.
The piece uses a color transition—shifting from cold blues in the background to warmer tones in the foreground—to visually represent the journey from the past toward a more authentic future.
The protagonist’s determined stride symbolizes the deliberate process of creating a life path aligned with one's true values.
