Painting:
SELECTED WORKS
A selection of works from various collections, reflecting my evolution in technique and conceptual exploration. From acrylics to watercolor and gouache, this overview highlights my focus on color, composition, & detail.
Recent Work
My recent paintings are studies in color, composition, and light. I explore these elements through interiors and still life using gouache on paper or wood panels, which allow for greater paint manipulation and experimentation with texture.
Exhibition: The chair paintings were featured in the 'Exposición Colectiva de Navidad' (Christmas Group Exhibition) at Galería Dos Ajolotes, Oviedo, Spain (December 2025).
Maya Collection
In the Maya series, I explore the invisible connections bees weave between plants through their flight paths and pollination. Using acrylics and mixed media to experiment with texture, this collection originated from my contribution to the collective exhibition "¿Quién verá las últimas abejas?" (Who will see the last bees?).
Exhibited at Taller Balam (Barcelona, July 2023), the project featured 20 artists and 20 pieces designed to form a single, modular artwork. This allowed visitors to interact with the installation, creating new versions by reordering the collective piece.
Vital Elements
This collection explores the experience of "existence" through the five essential elements—Fire, Air, Water, Earth, and Space—which, according to Tibetan Buddhist philosophy, compose all things.
In humans, these elements represent the energies that infuse life, manifesting through emotions and mental states. Using an abstract style, I apply symbolic language and color psychology to explore the specific sensations and feelings associated with each element. All pieces are developed using acrylic paint on various substrates.
Exhibition: Collective exhibition "Nosaltres, Dones Artistes" (We, The Women Artists), at Centre Cívic Cotxeres Borrell, Barcelona, Spain (March – April 2024).
