This illustration is my interpretation of the poem "The Laughing Heart" by Charles Bukowski, which is about finding your own way to live fully and freely.
I asked myself, what would make my heart laugh? and how would that look like? I visually fused some springtime elements and a human heart to symbolize and remind myself of our own capacity for blossoming and love.
This work has been featured at the "The Healing Power of ART: Resilience 2022" online exhibition on The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS website.

Esta ilustración es mi interpretación del poema "The Laughing Heart" (El Corazón que Ríe) de Charles Bukowski, que va sobre encontrar la manera de vivir libre y plenamente.
Me pregunté, ¿qué haría reír a mi corazón? ¿cómo sería eso? Fusioné visualmente algunos elementos primaverales y un corazón humano para simbolizar y recordarme la capacidad de abrir el corazón y amar.
Este trabajo se presentó en la exposición en línea "The Healing Power of ART: Resilience 2022" en el sitio web The Healing Power of ART & ARTISTS.
